Condolence From: John Katchmar
Condolence: Dear Steve family and friends,
The Katchmar family wants to extend our condolences to all of you on the passing of your Father and Friend Charles. He was a good man and will be in our thoughts as time marches on. I can remember the love and nurturing that Eve and Charles gave their children Steve and Barbara when we grew up in good old Franklin Square the same as our parents did with my sister Cathy and I. They guided us through good time and bad and all of our parents did the best they could and in the end we all turned out great ! I am so proud of them all. We were so lucky to have parents like that and I thank them daily in my prayers. Again my thoughts are with you.

Condolence: My husband Peter and I have many fond memories of holidays and special occasions spent at my sister Evelyn and brother-in-law Charlie's home in Long Island. Before my marriage, Pete always drove my Mom, my Nana and I from Yonkers to their home in Franklin Square. When I was younger, living in the Bronx, it was subways/buses. When I married Pete, it was Charlie who walked me down the aisle since I had no father to do so. When our boys were little they went to Aunt Eve's and Charlie's also. Claudia was born much later and never met him. This year Pete and I looked forward to seeing Charlie again after so many years at Christmas time at my sister's home near Tampa. Charlie was always well liked in the family and Pete and I will especially miss not seeing him again. RIP Charlie, love, Toni
