Obituary for Dorothy Elizabeth Young

Dorothy E (Thigpen) Ferguson Young passed away July 27, 2017 three days before her 94th birthday. Born in Waycross Georgia July 30, 1923 to William & Maude Thigpen, predeceased by her parents; sisters Arlene Allee, Mildred Penn; brother Dixon Thigpen; step son Robert Young; husband Ralph Ferguson; and husband W. Harmon Young. Dorothy is survived by sons Terry Ferguson (Joann), Larry Ferguson (Toni), William H. Young (Chris), & Jerry Young; 11 grand-children; many great, & great great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be Sunday July, 30 at 2:30pm at Northgate Baptist Church,1301 West Linebaugh Ave. Interment will be at a later date at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Florida. She will be laid to rest by her husband Harmon Young. We wish to give a special thank you to Royal Sun Park Assisted Living Facility for the love and care they gave to our mother.
