KUCZERA, Isabel F., 96, a native of Tampa, passed away March 20, 2016. She was a Registered Nurse and served in the Nurses Corp of the United States Navy during WW2 and the Korean War. Afterwards, she worked in several hospitals in California and Tampa until her retirement. She was a devout Catholic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Kuczera; her parents, Ramon and Edelmira Sanchez; her sisters, Helen Corces and Maria Caldevilla; her brother, Isador Sanchez-Vega and her nephew, Jose Caldevilla. She is survived by her niece, Nancy Lamson (John); nephews, James Corces (Noreen) and Vincent Caldevilla (Debbie) and several great nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at John Knox Village Med Center for their loving care. A mass to honor Isabel’s life will take place at 10:30am, Monday March 28, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (5223 N. Himes Avenue), with interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
