ZIMMERMAN, Robert G., 78, of Tampa, passed away June 10, 2011. He was born and raised in Macomb, Ill., member of the 1950 graduating class of Macomb High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from July 1950 to July 1971. He was the loving father of Eric Zimmerman and his wife, Jeri-Lynne, of Tampa, Debra Cronin and her husband, Stephen Cronin, of Odessa, Fla.; proud grandpa of Grace and Emma Zimmerman, Mckenzie and Ryan Cronin; and brother of Betty Griswold of Macomb, Ill. Memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at Adams & Jennings Funeral Home in Tampa. Will be remembered by all as one of the nicest, warmest, happiest, most unselfish, and genuine people they have ever known.
