87, of Tampa is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maxine W. King; sons, Lanny B. King Jr. and his wife, Karen, Danny R. King and his wife, Kelly all of Tampa; daughters, Lanetta King of Tampa and Connie King-Koons and her husband, Garner Koons of Treasure Island, FL; five grandchildren;10 great grandchildren; brother, Samuel King of Charleston, WV; sisters, Alice Motely of West Palm Beach, FL and Barbara Hanshaw of Charleston, WV. He was preceded in death by one brother Carney C. King Jr. of Charleston, WV. He was a US Navy Veteran of WW II and was the owner/operator of King’s Auto Sales, Inc. of Tampa. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8pm at Adams & Jennings Funeral Home, with graveside services to be held Thursday 2:00pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
