Condolence From: Cindy Tozier
Condolence: I'm going to miss Momma so much! I enjoyed talking to Mom about her youth. Some of the things that struck me were: the wholesome fun and simple pleasures of her time. For example, she used to love to climb the big tree in front of the house and go up as high as she could and sway in the breeze. She and neighborhood friends would get a kick out of going to the next door neighbor’s to play records and jitterbug in the basement. When asked what else she did for fun with her friends, she’d say they would walk to Creve Coeur park (which in checking Mapquest, was about a 9 mile walk from her home). When asked what they’d do next, she said, “we’d walk back”! May she rest in peace.
